Here are some important documents we used:
Bequest Form for newly interested Rotarians. This was probably the most important tool. Why? Because it made it EASY for people to get involved. The form was online, and a potential donor simply had to either fill out online and email in or print and fax or scan. It was very successful. The document went via fax or emailed direct to Carolyn Ferguson – Major Gift Officer-Zone 24 (selected portions of Canada, USA, Russia and France). She “took it from there”. She ensured the paper work was done properly, follow-ups, etc. Invaluable! We told potential donors “It’s easy, just click and send and you are in!”
Invitations were mailed via post, with copies sent via email. Million Dollar Dinner Invitation
Million Dollar Dinner Program We felt it was important to keep it short, and keep it focused on the one reason we were there – thanking new members of the Foundation’s Bequest Society and friends of the Foundation.
Suggested Script for marketing Million Dollar Dinner to Clubs. We gave these to club Presidents to use as “cheat notes” to inform their club members about the event.

Codicil. I never knew what it was either until this event. A form to give your lawyer with proper instructions regarding including the Foundation in your will. Note this is for Canadians only.
